34th Street
South Columbus Street

Neighborhood Church has been part of the Albany community for nearly 60 years.
The church was originally planted by Albany First Assembly of God—now Hope Church—out of a vision to establish a vibrant ministry serving the south side of Albany. In 1968, that vision became Evangel Assembly on 34th Street.
Over the years, the church entered new seasons, changed names, and moved locations. Evangel Assembly became New Life Center, later relocated to Columbus Street, and eventually became Oak Creek Christian Center.
After years of prayer and a desire to be more intentionally positioned within the community, the church moved to its current location at 2815 Pine Street and became Neighborhood Church.
The names have changed. The buildings have changed. The seasons have changed.
But the mission has remained the same: helping people encounter Jesus and become part of what God is doing in the world.
